What started as just a hobby in high school has turned into my passion & place in the world. I found makeup when I was 15, doing friends' prom makeup and trying out looks on myself in my bedroom. I realized this was something I wanted forever and I chased that dream all the way to the Make-Up Designory in Los Angeles, CA — and now I'll never look back.

I love doing anything from weddings to a putting-feathers-on-your-face type of thing. Working with artists in all fields is one of my biggest motivators — creative collaboration brings me so much fulfillment. As a makeup artist, my number one goal is to create a space for you to feel comfortable and confident in your skin — embracing your natural beauty.

I'M AMANDA! MAKEUP ARTIST, SELF-PROCLAIMED NERD, AND triple virgo

I'm Amanda! Being the middle child means you copy everything that your older sister does. From celebrity crushes to hobbies, I was pretty much a clone of my older sister, Jessica. She loved makeup far before I did, and seeing her experiment with colors and shapes 100% inspired me to do what I am doing today. Because of her, I got into special effects makeup (because I had to be a littleeee different) and eventually grew into my love for beauty and editorial makeup.

My love for makeup expands every day, and I am so fortunate to have a career that allows me a space to endlessly explore my artistry. The support from my family is a huge reason why I had the confidence and determination to chase my dreams. It takes a village, and I have the best village I could ask for.
